Fitness Is My Passion

My name is Evan Mark and I am an ACE Certified Personal Trainer with a Diploma and Bachelors in Kinesiology! Here is a little bit about me and my fitness journey so that I can meet you where you are…I first stepped into a gym 10 years ago not knowing what to do or anything about the human body. This quickly became a passion of mine as I started to workout on a consistent basis, following this free workout program online. After inconsistent results and shoulder injuries I realized…this “free program” gave me no insight on what type of training I was doing, no opportunity for progression, and there was minimal detail on proper form.

This is when I knew that I wanted to learn everything about health, fitness and the anatomy of the body. What I thought I didn’t know back in grade 9 was just the beginning; physical and mental fitness is now a staple in my everyday life and there is nothing I love more than helping others achieve their goals by sharing my newfound knowledge.

Sporting Background

I have an extensive background in sports, namely playing high-level soccer since a young age and continuing on to playing as a college athlete and at a competitive adult level in Vancouver. In addition to soccer, I have also played 9 years of competitive baseball, volleyball, and kickboxing.

Sports, like health and fitness, are another one of my strong passions in life. This has led me to successfully train a wide range of high-level athletes, including hockey players, baseball players, basketball players, and boxers. By utilizing my educational experience within high performance conditioning and exercise science, I incorporate both functional and sport-specific training regimes in order to get the best out of my athletes, as well as to prevent injury.

Our Mission

Fitness is individual in its own way in that it is always relative to goals, weight, genetics and type of training. However, although this journey is personal, it is not something that has to be done on your own. Whether you are rehabbing an injury or surgery, are a beginner that has no experience, an advanced lifter looking for ways to reach full potential, or an athlete looking to take it to the next level—I am offering my extensive knowledge and passion to help you become your very best self! You will learn everything I wish I knew early in my fitness journey, along with everything that I know now through priceless experience with various populations and my education. This further includes nutritional information, detailed workouts that emphasize form, and constant motivational tools to overcome barriers.

Our mission is to help individuals of all populations obtain a deeper understanding of their body so that they workout confidently and without pain. We aim to continue what we have started by helping newcomers learn the fundamental movement patterns, assisting individuals on their road to rehab, and coaching more experienced lifters or athletes on how to use science-backed techniques to find their true potential.
